Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an OB/GYN physician to cover 24/7 hospital call in Lincoln, Nebraska. This locum tenens assignment includes weekend call and on-call deliveries, with 1–2 deliveries per shift and 3–5 per weekend.

The position requires expertise in vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and OB obstetric complications. Competitive compensation, paid malpractice, and pre-paid travel and housing are provided, along with 24-hour support from a Weatherby consultant and access to the nationwide

Responsibilities

• Hotel pager call -- 24/7 coverage for 15+ days per month
• Weekend call: Friday 8 am - Monday 8 am included
• 1 - 2 deliveries per call shift; avg 3 - 5 per weekend
• OB/GYN call coverage setting
• Vaginal deliveries -- spontaneous, vacuum-assisted
• C-sections: primary, repeat, and emergent/stat required
• OB complications management -- PPH, shoulder dystocia, eclampsia
• Early pregnancy loss management required
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
• 24-hour access to your Weatherby Healthcare consultant
• Charter member of NALTO (affiliation)
