Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN for a locum tenens opportunity in Kearney, NE. The physician will provide inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, daily rounds, and respond to ED calls including urgent deliveries and gynecologic emergencies.

Responsibilities include managing pregnancies, performing procedures, and coordinating care with hospital staff. Inpatient coverage with Epic documentation is required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in OB/GYN.
• Active Nebraska medical license or IMLC eligibility with LOQ.
• Completion of OB/GYN residency through an ACGME- or AOA-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily rounds on all patients admitted to the OB/GYN service.
• Evaluate and manage consultations received during the assignment.
• Respond to ED calls for precipitous deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Provide gynecologic emergency consultations, evaluations, and treatment as needed.
• Diagnose and manage conditions arising during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
• Perform major and minor abdominal and vaginal surgical procedures involving the female pelvis and related structures.
• Manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies and coordinate appropriate patient care.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and other specialists to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic.

Education

Board-certified/Board-eligible OB/GYN

Nebraska medical license or IMLC with LOQ

ACGME- or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
