Job summary

Porter-Starke Services seeks an Inpatient Unit Director to supervise the inpatient care center, provide leadership for nursing staff, and guide education and evaluation of the team. You will act as ICC Director in absence and contribute to policy implementation and quality initiatives.

The role requires a BSN, minimum three years’ experience (mental health and supervisory experience preferred), and Indiana RN licensure. Expect collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and program oversight.

Qualifications

• Three years’ minimum nursing experience, inpatient preferred.
• Mental health and supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead inpatient unit operations, ensuring high-quality, age-appropriate care.
• Coordinate ICC activities with other departments and external agencies.
• Oversee nursing care plans, patient care evaluations, and incident reporting.
• Provide staff supervision, training, and performance appraisals.
