Sanford Health is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant for an inpatient Cardiology/Intermediate Care Unit in Bismarck, ND. You will provide patient-centered nursing care under RN/LPN supervision and support daily living activities, contributing to a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred. Maintains required department competencies and certifications.
• If ND and not CNA, must be on ND Nurse Aide Registry within 4 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic health care needs: bathing, grooming, toileting, eating.
• Record vital signs, glucose, and other health information.
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Perform scheduling/documentation tasks and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
• Dispose of biomedical waste per policy.
