Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care across the inpatient unit. You will perform admission assessments, plan and execute care, document thoroughly, and educate patients and families. You will collaborate with the care team and help plan discharge needs.

Required state RN license, BLS, and willingness to obtain ACLS and PALS within six months. Experience with EMR is essential, with a focus on safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

Registered nurse with a current state license.
CPR (BLS) certification required.
ACLS certified within six months of transfer or hire.
PALS certified within six months of transfer or hire.
Experience using electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

Perform admission physicals and comprehensive assessments.
Develop, review, and revise care plans with the team.
Document care using the nursing process per policy.
Educate patients and families and address discharge needs.
Participate in in-services, committees and quality activities.
