Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the CV Unit - Nights. This full-time role supports RN staff, delivers direct patient care, and helps maintain patient comfort and safety in a high-acuity unit.

You will work 36 hours per week, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with 4-5 weekends in a 6-week period and rotating holidays. Requires CPR certification and CNA training or relevant experience; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association is required.
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of prior patient care experience or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• Completion of the care Companion Course within six months of hire when required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse to support patient comfort, safety and well-being.
