University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS is seeking an RN-Inpatient for the Children's of Mississippi NICU, full-time, on-site.

You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care; coordinate patient admissions, records, and referrals; educate families; serve as a preceptor; and participate in committees to improve patient care. A valid RN license and strong teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license required.
• Knowledge of clinical nursing care procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating treatments and interventions.
• Educates patients and families on condition, medications and care plans.
• Coordinates referrals to services within and outside the unit.
• Maintains accurate patient records.
• Functions as a preceptor in accordance with UMMC guidelines.
• Participates in committees or task forces to improve patient care.
