Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse for Inpatient Neurosciences in Jacksonville, FL. The RN will coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care. Leadership, mentoring, and teamwork are integral as the nurse collaborates within the nursing practice model.

Applicants should have a nursing degree, an active RN license, and BLS certification, with preferred RN experience and flexibility for varied shifts. TN sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• RN license by state and BLS competency.
• 1 year RN experience preferred (or 1 year LPN at Mayo Clinic).
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and on-call.
• Strong communication, teamwork and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care including direct patient care and education.
• Lead and mentor teams; participate in quality improvement.
