• Build strong relationships: maintain communication with patients, families, and treatment professionals.
• Champion patient engagement: encourage participation in treatment planning and discharge planning.

• Ensure compliance and quality care: adhere to HIPAA and program protocols.
• Advocate for patients: document to support appropriate length of stay and referral level of care.
