Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine MRI procedures and prepare imaging for radiologist interpretation. You will ensure patient safety, verify orders, and deliver high-quality images in a timely manner.

This role requires 6 months of MRI experience or completion of the MWHC/MIF cross-training, CPR certification, and ARRT/ARMRIT MRI certification within a year. Shifts are Monday–Friday 2:30pm–11:00pm with rotating holidays and on-call hours.

Qualifications

• Six months’ MRI experience or completion of MWHC/MIF cross-training program.
• American Heart Association CPR required.
• Advanced ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for MRI examinations by confirming orders and obtaining histories for accuracy.
• Performs MRI examinations on all ages and maintains competency via annual orientation.
• Adheres to policies to ensure quality patient care and safe MRI operations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of MRI services and maintains professional conduct.
