Job summary

You will collaborate with RN and therapists to assess patients, update the EMR, and educate families on mobility goals and equipment use. This role emphasizes patient safety and multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related health field.
• CPR certification as required by the facility.
• Ability to work in an inpatient hospital setting with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide activity progression for hospitalized patients under direction from RN/provider.
• Update patient EMR and communicate via white boards and tools.
• Educate on mobility, body mechanics, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation service lines to ensure timely disposition and mobility plans.
• Assist in screening patients for appropriate rehab consults and safety.
