Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center in Enola, PA is seeking an inpatient RN (PRN) to assess health problems, develop care plans, and administer medications. You will monitor patient conditions, maintain medical records, and provide health maintenance guidance.

Evening and night differentials apply; shifts are varied and on-site. Licensed RNs with BLS/ACLS are required; a Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment required.
• BLS and ACLS required prior to orientation completion.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer nursing care and medications while monitoring for reactions and side effects.
• Maintain detailed medical records and report symptoms or changes in condition.
• Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
