Job summary

Ochsner Behavioral Health Acadiana is seeking qualified therapists to provide direct clinical services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves conducting assessments, planning and delivering individual, family, and group therapies, and coordinating discharge planning to support patient progress.

Team members collaborate within a multidisciplinary treatment framework, using Oceans 6 values to guide care and ensure compassionate, dignity-driven services for all ages served.

Qualifications

• Provides direct clinical services in accordance with accepted standards.
• Plans and conducts individual, family and/or group therapy as assigned.
• Performs case management and discharge planning as part of treatment.
• Reviews assessments and contributes to multidisciplinary treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical services in accordance with accepted standards of social/work practice.
• Plans and conducts individual, family and/or group therapy as assigned by the Director of Social Services or physician's order.
• Conducts, assesses and interprets completion of Comprehensive Integrated Assessment.
• Reviews all Multidisciplinary assessments and compiles a Multidisciplinary Treatment Plan under supervision.
• Performs case management and discharge planning as assigned by the Director of Social Services.
• Attends multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and shares progress reports.
