SUN Behavioral Health in Columbus, OH seeks a licensed mental health professional to conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and deliver individual and group therapy. You will coordinate admissions, document care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe discharge and community referrals.

Requirements include an unencumbered license in the state and a Master’s degree in a mental health field; at least two years of supervised clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered license in state of employment as LPC, LMFT, LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMSW, or LCSW; CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a mental health related field
• Maintains education and development appropriate for position.

Responsabilités

• Completes psychosocial evaluations on assigned patients/clients in a timely fashion.
• Interviews patients/clients, family members to identify disruption and precipitating events.
• Assesses psychosocial stressors to minimize crisis impact.
• Performs therapy sessions with individuals and groups.
• Documents assessments and links to appropriate level of care.
• Participates in discharge planning with physicians and staff.
