South Sound Behavioral Hospital in Lacey, WA is seeking a Program Therapist for the Inpatient Day Shift to address bio-psychosocial needs and provide social work services, crisis intervention, and family therapy.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Valid Washington state social work license.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
• Experience in family and group therapies and crisis intervention.
• CPR certification and crisis intervention/management training within 10 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual/couples/family counseling with engagement and problem‑solving.
• Collaborate with community agencies for patient assessment and services.
• Evaluate and document effectiveness of interventions and patient responses.
• Assess psychosocial, educational, and behavioral functioning and update records.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings and meet program goals.
