Job summary

Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services is seeking a Mental Health Technician (MHT) for a full-time role (36 hours per week). The position offers full benefits and a schedule of two weekdays (7am–7pm) plus every other Saturday and Sunday (7am–7pm).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health or human services or three years of related behavioral health experience.
• Knowledge of therapeutic relationships and psychology preferred.
• Must provide references from two supervisors and two peers before offer.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients throughout the care continuum.
• Monitors patient safety with rounds, unit checks, and inventory to prevent contraband access.
• Performs patient vital signs and assists in daily living activities; supports admission/discharge process.
