University Health is seeking a Mental Health Technician for the Inpatient Behavioral Health unit at UH Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The role is full-time with a schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, totaling 36 hours per week on a 3-day-per-week pattern.

You will support licensed nursing staff, assist with daily activities, ensure a safe and therapeutic environment, and contribute to patient care and unit operations. A strong patient-centered approach and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain BCLS certification within 120 days of hire and keep it current.
• Clearance through the Family Care Registry.
• Completion of department orientation and training.
• UAP regulatory training or equivalent background criteria.
