Job summary

Coastal Harbor Health System in Savannah, GA, is seeking a Mental Health Technician (MHT) to provide hands-on patient support in a pediatric and adult behavioral health setting. You will observe, document, and engage with patients, assisting with daily activities and treatment journeys.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a steady, supportive presence guiding patients through meals, activities, and programming.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, structured daily routine and environment.
• Build trust-based relationships with patients through communication and encouragement of healthy behaviors.
• Collaborate with Clinical and Admissions teams to support screenings and initial assessments.
• Support daily living activities and patient independence as part of treatment.
