Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• BLS certification mentioned under Licenses and Credentials.
• 0-1 year related healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients.
• Advocate for patients who may be vulnerable or need additional support.
• Provide parent/family counseling as part of patient support.
• Adhere to safety guidelines for patients under special status (suicide, abuse, AWOL).
• Document accurately and complete shift handoffs in a timely manner.
• Maintain professional boundaries with patients at all times.
