Responsibilities

• Interview uninsured/under-insured patients in a hospital setting to determine Medicaid eligibility.
• Assist patients in hospital rooms with the Medicaid/financial assistance application processes.
• Obtain signatures on state forms and communicate required additional documents to complete the submission.
• Maintain clear communication regarding patient benefits and ensure timely submission of applications.
