Job summary

Sanford Health in Iron Mountain, MI is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care as part of a collaborative team. The RN will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care across all phases from prevention to follow-up.

The role requires an accredited nursing program background, an active RN license in the practice state, and ongoing competency maintenance. Union position with full-time status and rotating 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in state where practice occurs.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care, including education, triage and other nursing interventions.
• Practice within the scope of nursing standards and code of ethics.
