Job summary

STAT Nursing Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated inpatient care according to established standards and the nursing process.

The role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating with other disciplines, and applying critical thinking and independent judgment to develop and implement care plans. California licensure and ACLS/BLS are required; NIHSS stroke certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing program (Certificate, ADN, BSN).
• Acute care facility experience: 1 year preferred.
• RN licensure in the state of practice: Unrestricted.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NIHSS Stroke Certificate.
• Malpractice Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues and develops an intervention plan.
• Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers to provide care in a safe, healing environment and to educate patients and families.
• Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
