Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, seeks a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to lead patient care in the Complex Medical Unit and collaborate with the nursing leadership team to improve outcomes.

As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, the CNS partners with interdisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based practice, enhance quality and safety, and provide clinical expertise for patients with complex medical needs. Relocation assistance may be available; TN sponsorship is eligible.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing with a CNS focus.
• 5 years of nursing experience with 2 in the specialty area preferred.
• Current RN license; APRN, CNS license or equivalent certification is required or highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical practice and improve patient outcomes in the Complex Medical Unit.
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based practice and patient safety.
• Provide clinical expertise for patients with complex medical needs and serve on nursing leadership teams.
