Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals seeks an RN Level I to provide professional nursing care for patients in an inpatient hospital setting. You will apply competent clinical knowledge, independent nursing judgment, and the nursing process to achieve quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license (state or eNLC), BLS within 30 days, and at least one year of nursing experience. A BSN is preferred and ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license (state or multi-state via eNLC).
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• One year of registered nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care using the nursing process.
• Modifies patient care plans based on data and patient needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to guide care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice and verifies plans with the team.
