Capital Medical Group is seeking an APP to join our inpatient Hospital Medicine team. The APP will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized patients while working collaboratively with physicians and an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

The APP will evaluate and manage patients throughout their hospital stay, participate in daily rounds, develop and implement treatment plans, coordinate care, and facilitate safe transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current national certification appropriate to the provider's profession.
• Current or eligible licensure in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Prescriptive authority and controlled-substance registration, as required.
• Current or eligible DEA registration, as applicable.
• Ability to meet all organizational employment and health screening requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
• Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, medications, and treatments within scope of practice.
• Participate in daily patient rounds and multidisciplinary care planning.
