Job summary

Capital Medical Group in the Washington, DC region seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join the inpatient team. You will evaluate and manage hospitalized patients, participate in daily rounds, and coordinate care with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualified candidates hold a graduate NP or PA degree with current certification and licensure in the DMV area. The role offers full-time employment with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current national certification appropriate to the provider's profession.
• Current or eligible licensure in the applicable jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
• Evaluate and manage hospitalized patients in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on findings.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, meds, and treatments.
• Participate in daily rounds and multidisciplinary planning.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing.
