JobRx, Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Hospital Clinical Pharmacist for a full-time position in Leesville, LA. The role involves dispensing medications, EMR ordering, compounding, and ensuring safe, effective pharmacotherapy for inpatients.

The position offers an 8- to 12-hour shift pattern, approximately 40 hours per week, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Louisiana licensure, BLS/ACLS (PALS preferred), and a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Louisiana pharmacist license.
• BLS or ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.
• PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree.
• Hospital or clinical experience preferred; new grads with clinical rotations are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications per physician orders.
• Verify and transcribe drug orders into EMR.
• Compound sterile and non-sterile products.
• Manage controlled substances records and compliance.
• Provide clinical consultations on drug therapies and monitor patient responses.
• Support anticoagulation management and pharmacokinetics consultations.
• Supervise pharmacy support staff and verify technician work.
• Participate in quality improvement and medication review activities.
• Educate patients and families on medication use.
• Assist in formulary management and protocol adherence.
• Ensure licensing and continuing education compliance.

What You'll Do:

What You Need:

• Valid pharmacy license in Louisiana
