Job summary

VNA Health seeks an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide hospice care at Serenity House. You will assess pain and complex symptoms, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and guide care for patients and families in the General Inpatient setting.

The role requires an active California RN license, CPR, and at least one year of acute care experience, with home health/hospice background preferred. Night shift 7PM–7:30AM, three days per week, with comprehensive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Current and active California RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum one year acute care experience; home health/hospice preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• IV and Central Line experience desired.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary team and independently in crises.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive direct nursing care to Hospice Serenity House patients.
• Deliver nursing services and procedures per in-patient protocols.
• Attend interdisciplinary group meetings and contribute to care plans.
• Coordinate care with team members and community resources.
• Educate patients and families on pain and symptom management.
