Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford, PA seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Unit. This full-time role includes three 12-hour shifts per week, with daylight and overnight availability and a weekend/holiday rotation.

You will provide skilled, patient-centered care in collaboration with the hospice team. The ideal candidate holds an active PA RN license, has strong assessment and communication skills, and is organized with meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and care skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications including MS Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments at shift start and as needed.
• Provide direct personal care including bathing, feeding, vital signs, and mobility.
• Support families and patients, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation.
