Job summary

St. Anthony’s in Henderson, KY is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our inpatient hospice team. This full-time position offers day and night shifts, providing comprehensive nursing care and symptom management in an end-of-life setting.

The RN will develop individualized care plans, document care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patients’ physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs. Kentucky RN licensure and hospice experience are preferred.

Qualifications

Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Previous nursing experience required.
Hospice, oncology, medical/surgical, critical care, long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
Demonstrated commitment to the hospice philosophy of care.

Responsibilities

Provides comprehensive physical, psychosocial and nursing assessments for assigned hospice patients.
Develops, implements, evaluates and updates individualized Plans of Care based on patient needs.
Provides hospice nursing care in accordance with hospice regulations and Medicare conditions.
Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and symptom management.
Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing standards.
