Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice in Boca Raton, part of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Care Center team. Your shift will be 7pm - 7:30am and every other weekend, delivering high-quality care to patients and support to families.

You will provide direct and indirect care under RN/LPN guidance, assist with ADLs, maintain a clean and safe environment, and offer emotional support to patients and families, upholding dignity and comfort in life’s important

Qualifications

• Current Florida CNA license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Six months’ hospital or healthcare experience.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in inpatient care centers.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
• Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction

What you’ll Do

As a CNA on our hospice team, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in our inpatient care centers.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
• Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction

What You’ll Need

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Six months’ experience working in hospital or healthcare environment
• Requires ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance and basic knowledge of the county territory.
• Must be able to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance.
