Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an inpatient Hepatology Advanced Practice Provider for the Charlotte, NC location. The role is full-time, inpatient only, with a 7 on/7 off schedule and no clinic patients.

Candidates include Physician Assistants or Acute Care Nurse Practitioners with relevant hepatology experience. Responsibilities include managing cirrhosis patients, liver transplant evaluation, daily rounds, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Inpatient hepatology experience preferred; GI/hepatic inpatient care is valued.
• PA or ACNP track with required/state licensure; PA requires NCCPA certification.
• Bachelor or higher degree as applicable to nursing/physician assistant roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with cirrhosis and post-transplant status in hospital.
• Conduct consults, rounds, orders, notes, and patient education in hepatology.
