Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) specialized in Hematology/Oncology to evaluate and treat patients with hematologic malignancies and disorders in inpatient settings.

You will join a team caring for CAR-T, stem cell transplant patients and clinical trial participants; no-call duty, about 10–12 weekends per year, with 4×10‑hour shifts or 3×13‑hour shifts. Training includes bone marrow biopsy/aspirate procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Must be Acute Care NP or Physician Assistant.
• Current license to practice as a NP or PA in North Carolina.
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• BLS for healthcare provider from AHA required.
• AGACNP/ACNP certification required.
• Physician Assistants certification (NCCPA) preferred.
• CAQ certification preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a provider preferred.
• Hematology/Oncology experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and teamwork in high acuity settings.
• Able to perform thorough history and physical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient care for hematology/oncology patients in a hospital setting.
• Evaluate and treat patients through diagnosis/treatment and trials.
• Bone marrow biopsy and aspirate training part of onboarding.
