Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Rutherford in Forest City, NC, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join its outpatient oncology/hematology practice. The role focuses on clinic and infusion coverage, survivorship and chemotherapy teaching in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified applicants have at least 1 year of oncology APP experience, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset. Schedule offers 4x10-hour days or 5x8-hour days with no overnight call, weekends, or holidays, plus

• At least 1 year of experience in hematology/oncology working as an APP
• Effective communication (written and verbal)
• Willingness to collaborate closely with clinical team
• Current on best practice and standards of care
• Displays self-initiative to learn

Responsibilities

• Outpatient and infusion coverage
• Survivorship, acute and routine visits, toxicity visits, chemotherapy teaches, benign hematology management, and infusion coverage
• Clinic is open Monday – Friday; Schedule consists of 4 days/10-hour shift or 5 days/8 hour shifts
• 2 Physicians, 2 APP
• Opportunity for chemo certification and bone marrow biopsy training
