Job summary

Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for inpatient hematology. The role supports a collaborative interdisciplinary team, emphasizes work-life balance, and involves a steady day shift with 40 hours per week.

The APP will manage a panel of inpatients, coordinate care with nursing and physicians, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant required.
• 2 years of advanced practice experience preferred.
• Hematology experience preferred; Epic/EMR proficiency preferred; clinical trials familiarity helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to inpatients with hematologic conditions.
• Take comprehensive histories and perform physical exams.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develop plans of care and coordinate follow-up.
• Document admissions, progress notes, and discharge summaries timely.
• Perform bedside procedures as appropriate and prescribe meds per policy.
