Job summary

Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital in Tacoma is seeking a full-time Group Therapist to join our inpatient team. The role involves delivering structured group treatment on an acute psychiatric unit, with four 10-hour shifts weekly (Sunday to Wednesday) to support psychiatric stabilization and community reintegration.

You will work with adults across a range of behavioral health disorders, document care according to policy, and apply evidenced-based group therapy modalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, social sciences, recreation, music therapy, dance therapy, art therapy, occupational therapy, or a counseling-related field.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group treatment on an acute inpatient psychiatric unit.
• Provide routine daily treatment activities for adults with behavioral health disorders.
• Document patient care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidance.
