Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking an RN Inpatient to provide comprehensive nursing care under leadership supervision. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, directing co-workers and ensuring adherence to standards while maintaining exceptional service to patients and families.

Required to coordinate care, document thoroughly, and participate in teaching to improve patient outcomes; BSN preferred and RN licensure required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing is required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days; ACLS if working in inpatient area within 90 days.
• State RN licensure or Compact licensure required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessment and reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.
• Develops and implements plan of care based on assessment and expected outcomes.
• Oversees delegation of the plan to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Ensures discharge planning is part of the care plan when appropriate.
• Engages in patient/family/staff teaching to achieve outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
