Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a registered nurse for the Nursing Float Pool in Sheboygan County. This full-time 0.75 FTE position works 7:00–19:00 with weekend and holiday expectations. ACLS is preferred and compensation ranges from $38.20 to $57.30 per hour.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, assessing patients, planning care, and collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. You may float to other units and must maintain accurate EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ACLS is preferred.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area.
