Penn State Health’s St. Joseph Medical Center seeks an Emergency Medicine pharmacist to join our ED team, delivering safe, evidence-based pharmacotherapy for both adult and pediatric patients.

You will contribute during high‑pressure moments such as trauma resuscitations, stroke alerts, and cardiac arrests, while supporting transitions of care with accurate medication reconciliation. Qualifications

  • Pharm D degree required and PA license eligibility.
  • PGY-2 EM or Critical Care residency with BCCCP/BCEMP required within one year of hire.
  • PGY-1 general practice residency plus three years of relevant experience with BCCCP/BCEMP required within one year of hire.
  • Six years of relevant experience and BCCCP or BCEMP required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and optimize medication therapy in the ED for adult and pediatric patients.
  • Support resuscitations (trauma, stroke alerts, cardiac arrests) with dosing and drug selection guidance.
  • Provide on‑the‑spot recommendations for dosing, administration, and monitoring.
  • Ensure accurate medication reconciliation at admission and discharge.

The Division of Hematology/Oncology and Penn State Cancer Institute, Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, seeks to recruit Hospitalists for our inpatient Hematology/Oncology service. Primary responsibilities include the care of our inpatient population along with opportunities for clinical research and the education of our medical students and house staff. This position will be at the Assistant Professor level. The expected schedule for this position will be 26 weeks on duty annually for patient care.

Appropriate candidates must possess a MD, DO, or foreign equivalent and be board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine from an accredited institution. Candidates must have or be able to acquire a license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
