Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. is seeking an EVS Associate - In Patient to perform daily cleaning in patient areas, offices, public spaces, and other non-patient areas.

You will participate in discharge cleaning, OR cleaning, and between-case cleaning while maintaining a respectful, compassionate approach to patients and staff. Essential responsibilities include cleaning floors, upholstery, and equipment, handling waste, and reporting maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Some High School required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Basic familiarity with computers.

Responsibilities

• Performs multi-step cleaning in patient areas, OR, and non-patient areas.
• Cleans patient equipment and maintains clean work areas.
• Responds to discharges, spills, and hospital-wide events as needed.
• Keeps records and communicates supply needs to supervisor.
