Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an EVS Associate – In Patient to perform daily cleaning in patient areas and non-patient spaces, supporting a safe and compassionate patient experience.

You will operate cleaning equipment, handle discharge and routine cleaning, report maintenance needs, and communicate respectfully with patients, families, and hospital staff.

This is a full-time, day-shift on-site role in Boston, with a base pay range of $17.00 to $22.88 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• 0-1 years related work experience.
• Basic familiarity with computers.
• Ability to read, write, and follow safety instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning in patient areas and non-patient areas.
• Operates cleaning equipment and follows department procedures.
• Reports supply shortages and maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Interacts respectfully with patients, families and hospital staff.
