Job summary

Job Description

The inpatient EEG Staff Leader reports to the EEG Coordinator. Under limited supervision, the inpatient EEG Unit Leader supports the Clinical Neurophysiology Services department, ICCE and Medical Center goals. Goals include achievement of clinical and quality measures, operational efficiency, financial targets as well as population/age specific needs of the department. This role functions as a mentor and resource for staff and patients.

Additional Job Description

Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology or the equivalent and registered as an EEG Technician by ABRET required and must be maintained. Three years EEG Technician work experience required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
