Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Pensacola, FL is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse in the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group within the kidney care team.

You will perform duties under supervision, participate in education, and support quality improvement activities, with travel to training sites as needed and potential secondary outpatient

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Minimum 9 months experience as a Registered Nurse; 12 months preferred.
• 6 months acute dialysis experience preferred.
• Hemodialysis and/or ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential nursing duties under supervision and guidance from Educator/Preceptor.
• Assess and document patient data during dialysis treatment and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and disease management.
• Coordinate care with dialysis team and facility staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in on-call rotations and program staff training.
