Fresenius Medical Care in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Inpatient Patient Care Technician (PCT) for our dialysis unit. You will work under the supervision of an FMCNA RN to assist with treatments, monitor patient status, and help maintain a safe, clean care environment.

Responsibilities include preparing equipment, documenting treatment parameters, assisting with cannulation, collecting specimens, and reporting concerns to the RN.

Formación

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Must have a valid PCT national certification or state-specific CMS certification.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care under RN supervision in the acute setting.
• Monitor vital signs and weight; report abnormalities to RN.
• Set up and prime dialysis equipment per physician orders.
• Document treatment parameters on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
• Assist with cannulation and vascular access evaluation.
• Ensure safety alarms and device settings are correct.
• Discontinue dialysis treatment as prescribed and document outcomes.
