Qualifications

• Candidates must hold a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies and maintain PA licensure.
• PA-C or board-eligible status is required.
• Four to ten years related experience and/or training or equivalent education is preferred.
• MSN and NP certifications are listed as preferred qualifications.
• Prescriptive Authority and DEA licensure are expected within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, inpatient, evidence-based care with daily rounds and discharge planning.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate labs and imaging; collaborate with attending physicians.
• Institute emergency measures and stabilize acute patient situations.
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR for coding and billing.
• Coordinate care with families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and patient experience.
• Communicate the plan of care with the attending physician and participate in decision-making.
