Job summary

Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is seeking an Inpatient Counselor (PRN) to provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to patients and families within an inpatient setting.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team, conducting psychosocial assessments, delivering group and family therapies, and contributing to discharge planning within 72 hours of admission. This role requires a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and CPR/CPI training upon hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Master's Degree in a behavioral science or mental health related field required.
• Experience: Clinical and administrative experience in an inpatient and outpatient mental health setting preferred.
• CPR and CPI certification training provided upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting the organization’s treatment program and philosophy.
• Conducts psychosocial assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues.
• Provide group and family process-oriented therapies.
• Treatment Planning.
• Initial discharge plan formulated and noted on psychosocial within 72 hours of admission.
