Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an inpatient coder to review, analyze, and code hospital inpatient medical records. You will select and sequence ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM/PCS codes as required for the transition to ICD-10.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, AHIMA- accredited coding certificate preferred, and at least 1 year of hospital coding experience (remote coding experience preferred).

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• AHIMA-accredited Coding Certificate program preferred.
• 1 year hospital coding experience required.
• Remote coding experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Reviews, analyzes, and codes documentation for hospital inpatient medical records.
• Selects and sequences ICD-9-CM diagnosis, ICD-9-CM procedure codes, ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS as applicable to ICD-10 implementation. Primary responsibility is inpatient coding.
