Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, health care administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of relevant experience in hospital functions (e.g., professional/facility coding, reimbursement, billing, chargemaster maintenance).
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and Professional Coder credentials listed above.

Responsibilities

• Meets with providers and coding employees regularly on billing, coding and reimbursement issues.
• Reviews monthly billing system reports focusing on revenue cycle metrics and documentation.
• Acts as liaison between Coding department and Corewell Health to promote coding education.
