Qualifications

• 5+ years of inpatient or outpatient coding or auditing experience.
• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Technician (RHIT) required.
• Comprehensive experience with advanced cardiovascular, cardiothoracic procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews on coded records for accuracy.
• Provide education to coding staff regarding changes in coding.
• Prepare statistical reports and maintain confidentiality.
