• Review records to ensure MS-DRG assignments reflect documented diagnoses and procedures.
• Abstract clinical data from records to support diagnoses, procedures and discharge disposition.
• Coordinate with client staff for data integrity and clarification on coding practices.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with privacy and security regulations.
